Coffin Found On Mars?
The Mars Curiosity rover sends back to earth amazing images of Mars’ barren landscapes. It’s difficult not to feel amazed as you stare at crystal clear images of a land more than 30 million miles away. For me, that incredulity and awe is enough, but others feel the need to pore over the images and find something more. Something alien.
Personally I enjoy it when people find weird stuff on Mars, I’m never sold on it, but I do like the fact that there are people willing to peruse the photos with a fine toothed comb. So I promise I will always cover anything odd that’s reported up there.
A few months ago there was a lizard reportedly found on Mars and at the same kind of time there were reports of an iguana, traffic lights and a number of other objects photographed on the lunar surface.
Today’s loopy find is a coffin. Here’s the original image… can you see it?:

UFO / conspiracy type websites are up in arms that NASA won’t examine the object further, one website finds it:
…incomprehensible that NASA takes no action to examine the stone box.
I wholeheartedly agree. It’s a shame but I’m fairly sure we’ll never find an ancient Martian pyramid or a fossilized lizard on Mars. It would be great, but it’s just not that likely.
