What Is Soft-Vore Photography?

Sometimes, after a long and meaningless day in the office, I relish the idea of coming home and learning about something interesting. I look forward to digging up some nuggets of golden info about stuff I’d never even considered before.

Perhaps I’ll read about the bird life of Korea, or relax and muse over ancient statuettes. Who knows? The ether is mine to surf. That’s why I got into this web malarkey in the first place: oddities.

But some evenings, when I hang my bowler hat on the hat stand, pop my smoking jacket on and slump back into my black marble throne, things don’t quite pan out. Things, on occasion, swerve swiftly off kilter. It feels like I’ve hit the rim of the internet, damaged my parietal lobe, and sustained some kind of kidney damage.

What am I looking at? Where are the lovely images of Belorussian statues and Russian wilderness? What lays before me now?

Today has been one such day. I have discovered vorarephilia. What’s vore? Well, apparently, it’s a fetish for being eaten. I’d never heard of this before? You might be thinking to yourself, or out loud, that I am describing cannibalism. Touche. But voraraphiles consider vore a pure fantasy, so it’s not the same thing.

I discovered that there is so-called soft-vore, which is where you are swallowed whole, a bloodless type of vore, if you will.

Then there is hard-vore, which is the bloodier type.

Vorarephilia can be further split into macrophilia and microphilia, where you imagine you are small and being eaten by someone big, or vice versa.

The images I have for you below are from the soft-vore macrophilia genre, I believe. Some Swiss chap who goes by the name of dinamo2713 on Deviant Art has been creating these images for many years.
