Crisis actors, if you haven’t heard the term before, are another “smoking gun” in the conspiracy / New World Order / Illuminati lovers arsenal. These crisis actors are alleged to be employed to act out phony crises to fool the American public into thinking there is a huge amount of danger around them all the time.
It sounds too bizarre to be believed, but some conspiracy theorists believe that large-scale disasters, terrorist attacks and murders are completely staged by the US government to strike fear into the general populous. The recent Paris horrors have been added to the list of these so-called staged events.
It’s true that the American news does seem to revel, rejoice and bathe in the turmoil and upset of the world; American news programmes are chocked full of exaggeration and forced tears, but this is a few long steps further down the path.

The meme, which clearly shows different people, has already had another brown haired girl added to it from the Paris attacks.
According to the crisis actor cult, these actors are paid by the Department of Homeland Security to act as though something horrific has just happened. The example that is banded around the most is the Sandy Hook massacre.
This school shooting saw the deaths of 20 children and 6 staff at the end of an individual nutter’s gun. According to conspiracy buffs this whole thing was nothing more than a mock up. They believe that the entire tragedy was orchestrated by the DHS and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Because it was, according to them, a made up event, that means that every single upset parent and teacher was a paid actor. It would also follow that everyone in the small town would have had to be in on the scam. Now, some people can keep secrets, but an entire town keeping a secret that big and dirty is difficult to swallow.
I watched a few videos which claimed to contain evidence of the existence of these crisis actors to see what the word on the street was…
The first video I watched – Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Crisis Actors – was an amusing start. The video’s creator just goes to the DHS web site and shows you the forms to fill in to if you are becoming a crisis actor. It’s here that I realised that crisis actors are a real thing. But they’re not what the conspiracy buffs think.
Actors are employed to play out various scenarios to test medical and infrastructure staff. That’s a pretty sensible thing to do.
If these forms were as incriminating as he thinks they are then they wouldn’t be stuck up for public download.
One line of “evidence” that the documentary maker includes is that the forms are missing the .doc file endings which means they don’t show up if you do an advanced Google search for .doc file types. That’s probably the most doosh line of evidence I’ve ever heard seeing as you can just Google them in a non-advanced search and they pop up fine.
YouTube commenters aren’t world renowned for their insight, but a user called Anthrax pretty much nails the conclusions to this video like so:

The next video I watched was a compilation of so called Sandy Hook “actors” being interviewed in various news broadcasts. They showed a few different interviews with grieving parents, teachers and townsfolk from Sandy Hook. Their premise was that the “actor’s” performances weren’t believable.
There was one Sandy Hook resident who they kept coming back to – Gene Rosen – who had found some of the school kids cowering in his bushes. Gene Rosen does behave in a slightly odd way, with an unusual turn of phrase, but people react to tragedy in a myriad of styles and let’s not forget, some people are just plain strange. Behaving oddly is not evidence for wrongdoing.
Another video I watched focused on one particular family involved in the Sandy Hook massacre. One of their three daughters was shot dead in the awful incident.
The point of this video was simply to show footage of the remaining two sisters before the incident took place in a really, really tenuous and failed attempt to prove that the third daughter never existed in the first instance and that she was a stooge all along.

If the US government is smart and smooth enough to fake the deaths of more than 25 people I’m pretty sure they’d remember not to use the same child actors two days apart. And all little girls pretty much look the same really don’t they? All smiles and hair.

The last video I watched – Video of a Sandy Hook student calling the massacre a “drill” – showed a young Sandy Hook kid on a TV interview saying that when the massacre was kicking off he got under the table in the “drill”. Now, children are pretty stupid, we all know that. Schools carry out drills as a matter of course and the kids are probably asked to get under the tables. The kids may well refer to getting under the tables as a “drill” because they don’t actually know what a “drill” is. It’s certainly not evidence that it really was a made up scenario.

Another incident that is often called a hoax is the Boston Marathon bombing. The theory goes that the poor bloke that got his legs blown off – Jeff Bauman – was actually being played by a double amputee military veteran called Lt Nicholas Vogt. Once again, the fact that the two men looking nothing alike doesn’t seem to put the conspiracy nuts off:
But why would the US government want to fool its already quaking citizens into thinking even worse things are happening than already are? The theory goes that the government wants to keep the population on their knees and in constant fear. This way they can slowly take away their 2nd amendment rights, i.e. the right to carry loaded guns around all the time.
Why would the US government stage such huge fake events though? Why not stick to something smaller?
The conspiracy thinking here is that a big lie is easier to swallow than a little one. Apparently this was one of Hitler’s tactics and as a psychological theory goes it probably does hold some water.
The problem in my eyes isn’t whether the US government would dare to do anything like this; I don’t think the shady puppet masters in the White House’s attic have got too many qualms over their nation’s welfare. My big problem is how on earth would they pull something so huge off with literally no one letting the cat out of the bag?
They’d be trusting the alleged victims to keep quiet, the drivers of the actors who need to get to the town and their agents (there would be tens of actors if not more). The children who were supposed to have been shot would have to be kept out of sight or completely fabricated in the first place.
All the news crews would have to be kept in the dark or be in on the joke. The people who supplied refreshments and makeup would have to be in on it, as would the police and ambulance services. Do you not think just one of these people would have been a bit like “you’re fooling the nation into thinking loads of kids have been shot? Errrr… I’m actually not fine with that”.
Of course the powers that be would have to pick the most malleable of citizens, but even then, I just can’t buy it. One theory was that the Malaysian aircraft that disappeared had some crisis actors on it in an effort to shut them up. A conspiracy theory to help explain an even bigger conspiracy. The pit is deepening.
So my conclusion, which is always fairly similar with these types of conspiracy posts, is as follows: the US government lies all the time, that’s a fact. If they could pull something this big off they probably would, but I don’t reckon they could manage it. And OMG there’s literally no proper evidence at all.
