PHOTOS: Wine Festival In Armenia

Today’s random destination is Armenia. On the first Saturday of October Armenian mountain villagers get together to celebrate food and booze. Humans across the length and breadth of the earth seem to absolutely love eating and drinking don’t they? We’re not so different from each other after all.

A Russian photographer called Petr went along to capture the sights, he’s done a tip top job…

Most of the people at the celebration still speak Russian, but the vibe seems much more Mediterranean. I guess that’s the clement weather.

The furnace is for cooking Lavash…

Old men and old ladies sit separately…

According to Petr the sound systems battled all day long…
