I guess Estonian hotel advertisements from the 80’s is a bit of a weird topic to choose. But I found these pics and I liked them. Simple as that. You didn’t have to click the link but you obviously have, so who’s weird now?

Estonia and its Baltic brothers were under Soviet rule until the early 90’s so owning your own business was illegal. These posters advertising Estonian hotels come from 1985 when the Soviet’s stranglehold was possibly showing some signs of weakening.

These ads were created to attract over visitors from Helsinki, just across the water. The people of Finland had cash to splash and from the general tone of the adverts it seems they were trying to attract young and randy males.
