The Breathtaking Mosques Of Iran

Mohammad Reza Domiri Ganji is a 24-year-old physics student who lives in Babol in Iran’s Mazandaran province. On the side he mucks about with photography. Ganji loves the fish-eye and he loves a panorama, but even more, he loves mosques and Iranian culture at large.

His photography, as you will see, is pretty easy on the eye. The images look like a bewildering kaleidoscope, but not in a bad way at all. It’s a wonderful meet and greet between the very modern and the incredibly old. Some of the panoramic views of mosque ceilings look more Star Wars than ancient history.
