Medieval Persian Ottoman Clothes - Kurds and Persians

I know, I know, medieval Persian dress is a pretty random topic for a post. But here’s what’s going on: last year we went to the Medieval Festival at Herstmonceux Castle. It was great but we felt rather embarrassed, nay ashamed, that we hadn’t bothered to dress up. So this year’s going to be different, very different indeed. I have decided to go as a medieval Persian of some description, mainly because I’ve always wanted to wear a turban.

Whilst searching for a costume that looks cool and won’t cost much time or money I came across a pretty wonderful selection of outfits on this website and others. Here are my faves, some are medieval, some are a later, but all are ace:
