MyanmarNet: Images From Burmese Buddhist Website

I found my way to a Myanmar website today, I can’t remember why I ended up there but I stayed a while. Most of the text is written as an image so even Google Translate can’t help me understand. I don’t really know what the site’s about, other than it’s mostly got a bunch of monks on there so it’s religion based I’m assuming.

I just loved the photos of the Buddhist fellas and the unashamedly gaudy banners and fonts so I just collected a bunch of them and dumped them here. I haven’t got much to say about them because I don’t know what’s going on, but I genuinely don’t think it matters.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. I couldn’t tell you what I liked about them either. I just did. And I felt compelled to share them, maybe Buddha is working through me? Maybe I am Buddha? Woah…

I have no idea what’s inside the cellophane but it looks important:

This next monk is called Sayadaw U Vicittasarabhivamsa, I’ve included three pictures of him because I’m a big fan. He’s no longer with us though I’m afraid…

Monks on tour!:

If you’re reading this sentence it means you’ve scrolled all the way through the images. Did you enjoy them too? If so, why?
