Brother Jack McDuff – The Perfect Accompaniment To Burgers

Brother Jack McDuff - Hot Barbeque

“Brother” Jack McDuff was an American jazz organist and organ trio bandleader who was big throughout the hard bop and soul jazz era of the 1960s, often performing with an organ trio. He wrote the track below so that you don’t have to worry when you’re deciding which song to play whilst lighting the BBQ this summer. It’s the perfect accompaniment to a lazy summer meat off. If you can listen to this song without doing a tiny little smile to yourself you should go to the doctors and have your brain checked for mong particles.

Jack toured the world and brightened people’s days throughout his life, releasing tens of albums. “CaptainJack McDuff, as he later became known, died of heart beefs at the age of 74 in Minneapolis, what a dude.
